Artist's Statement
My art medium is painting with textiles and thread.
The sewing together of the textile layers gives the art piece depth
and motion.
The use of color helps to create the light source.
I am always reaching for an ethereal feeling radiating from within
the piece giving it life.
Creativity is my source of fulfillment. Taking the ideas in my mind
and seeing them come to life is challenging. The objective is to
always create rather than imitate.
Many patterns and subjects emerge as I work. In recent
years my art has become more symbolic. My current interest is in
Buddhist themes and ethnic flavors.
